1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the marketplace:

• Account details — your name, email, password, and whether you join as a creator or a brand.
• Profile data — for creators: niche, city, bio, rates and portfolio; for brands: company name, industry, city and logo.
• Connected Instagram data — when you connect Instagram, we read public and account metrics (followers, engagement, posts, reach) to verify authenticity. Access is read-only and you can disconnect at any time.
• Deal & campaign data — briefs, applications, agreed terms, messages, deliverables and ratings exchanged on the platform.
• Subscription data — your plan and billing status. Card details are handled by our payment partner, not stored by us.
• Usage data — basic device, log and analytics data to keep the service secure and working.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to verify creators and compute Trust Scores, match creators and brands, run campaigns and deals, process subscriptions, send service communications, and keep the platform safe. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Trust Score & verification

Your Trust Score is computed from your connected Instagram data and your activity on Kreatorcity (completed deals, ratings, responsiveness). It is derived from data, never self-reported, and updates over time. We use it to help brands find genuine creators; we do not guarantee any particular score or number of deals.

4. Instagram connection

Connecting Instagram is optional but unlocks verification and your Trust Score. We request read-only access to the metrics described above. We never post, message, or take any action on your behalf, and you can revoke access from Instagram or by disconnecting in your settings at any time.

5. How we share information

We share information only where needed to run the marketplace:

• With the other party in a deal — a brand you apply to (or a creator a brand contacts) sees your relevant profile and deal details.
• With service providers — payment, hosting and analytics partners who process data on our behalf under contract.
• For legal reasons — where required by law, or to protect users and the platform.

We never sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Deals & payments

Payments for deals are made between brands and creators on the terms they agree. Kreatorcity charges zero commission on any deal and is not a party to it. We store deal records (terms, status, ratings) to operate the marketplace and resolve disputes.

7. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

8. Your rights

Consistent with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, you can access, correct or delete your personal data, withdraw consent (including disconnecting Instagram), and object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Local storage

We use your browser’s local storage — not cookies — to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Kreatorcity is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the product.
